
David Kuettel is an Art Director, illustrator and digital artist with over a decade of experience in the animation industry, currently residing in Atlanta, GA.
Born in the frozen north of Minnesota, he studied Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2011.
In 2016 he received a Prime-time Emmy award for his contributions to FX's hit animated spy-comedy 'Archer'.
He is currently employed at Floyd County Productions, where in addition to Archer, he has done character design, storyboards, and asset builds for Marvel's Hit Monkey, America: The Motion Picture, Cassius and Clay, as well as countless other un-aired pilots and projects.
He also works as a freelance storyboard and concept artist for independent film, video game cinematics, and music videos.
Clients include Netflix, Marvel, Hulu, FX, and Disney. David has contributed to film, television, music video, video game, comic book, and online media content projects; working as a graphic designer, illustrator, concept artist, and manager/director.
I've worked on Archer from S3-S14, as an Illustrator, Keyframe Artist, Storyboarder, Character and Prop Designer, Design Lead, and finally Design Director.
I worked as a Character Designer and Layout Artist on Hit-Monkey
Designed characters, turns, costume, and prop assets for use in animated cinematic cutscenes and gameplay for the video game 'Extinction'
I did Character Designs and Storyboard Cleanup for America: The Motion Picture
